Premiere of the documentary Otos, The Village of Sundials
The short documentary that explains the history of the sunglasses route, from the beginning to the present, with interviews with the authors, is already available in Vimeo.
The documentary piece traces a journey through the various years of the route, explains the origins of the project and the current state, as well as the peculiarities of the most important clocks through the interviews with the authors.
The short is made by Adrià Espí, with the supervision of the gnomonist Joan Olivares, and produced by Otos City Council. The artists Rafa Amorós, Rafa Armengol, Manuel Boix, Artur Heras, Elisa Martí, Antoni Miró, Joan Olivares, Tino Pla and Joanfra Tormo are participating.
The documentary short and the new route guide were presented to Otos last Saturday, November 10, at an event at the Otos Palace. The short documentary and the guide are complemented perfectly. While the guide focuses on the most technical issues and explains in depth each watch, the short documentary offers a more generic and synthetic vision. The guide also offers us the opportunity to expand the documentary: you can see the extended interviews, with a longer duration.
